The G4 replacement columns contain sieves that convert the air that we breathe into medical grade, pure oxygen. It is recommended that the G4 Columns be replaced every 12 to 18 months to maximize the life of the unit.
The two columns are included with each order. Simple to follow instructions enable you to easily switch out the column pair without tools and without having to send the unit into a repair center.
NOTE: The RP-406 columns are only compatible with the Inogen G4 units. If you need columns for other Inogen models, click here
When it's time to replace the columns, the unit will display a low oxygen purity alert on the LDC screen - “O2 Service Soon”. To remove the columns, first remove the battery, then simply press the latch release button located on the bottom of the unit and slide the columns out of the unit. No special tools are required!
